This lovely riding habit was first spotted in the 1998 adaptation of 𝑾𝒖𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑯𝒆𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕𝒔, where it was worn by Orla Brady as Cathy Earnshaw. However, it is possible that this costume originated from an earlier production, as many costumes from that series originated elsewhere.   The ensemble appeared again in 2017, worn by Ruby Bentall as Verity Poldark, in the third season of 𝑷𝒐𝒍𝒅𝒂𝒓𝒌.   See more at Bit.ly/StuGeo128

Riding Habit | c. 1825 • • • I don’t know if I love the bagged mannequin head or if it terrifies me. This would make a wonderful Poe-esque tale of an elegant lady in a green riding habit with a silk cloth hiding a disfigured face, wandering the moors for eternity on a black horse. I think I audibly gasped when I first laid on this riding habit. It’s proportions are perfect.
