In 1985, a dark fantasy was released. The name was Legend directed by legendary film maker Ridley scott. When jack a pure being takes Lili to the unicorns, unaware the lord of darkness intends to kill the unicorns and take their horns forever casting their world in eternal night. Lili accidentally sets in motion the lord of darkness's plans..... When released this film didn't do well commercially but over the years it has developed a cult following starring Tom Cruise and Mia Sara as Jack and Lili. Their performance though is outclassed by Tim Curry as the lord of Darkness. He is both sinister and powerful in this role. The design is fantastic and one of the definitive looks for the devil. The film isn't Scott's best but it's fun and worth watching. I think Cruise was miscast in this film but he gave it his all.
