ASTROLOGY AND ACTORS:
Note: this post is going to use sidereal astrology, as I have found, through an exhausting study of so many birth charts, tends to represent the native in a clear and grounded way. However, no house system or type of astrology is wrong. they both talk about the same thing, using the whole birth chart. For example, in sidereal, someone born during the day (biggest malefic is mars) and their mars in is the 3rd house, meaning they may have problems with communication and driving, etc. And in tropical, there will be another indication like 3rd house's ruler (the planet that rules the third house) badly aspected or in 8th house.
Actors/Actresses tend to have
sun as AatmaKaarak (ak) = ak is the planet with the highest degree as so is the planet that plays the bigger role in your life. think about it this way, your life is a play and the ak is your main character. And having the sun, the star that give us light and the most worship through all culture, as aatmarakaarak is a indicator of fame and being known.
Venus and mercury as the ak
rising in Libra or Taurus or other placements = being ruled by Venus makes you popular and easily liked by others.
rising in cancer or Leo or other placements= being ruled by the moon (cancer) and the sun (Leo), meaning the luminaries
mc/10th house/2nd house being in Leo = the 10th house rules over our legacy, which now modern astrologers associated with career and the second house is how we make our income
placements in Leo degrees (5º,17º,29º) or in pisces (12º,24º)
2nd house's/ 10th's lord/chart's ruler in Leo or pisces = pisces rules over delusions and movies are often used to distract from reality
sun in the 10th house = being known for your career, which mostly is celebrities
mc in cancer/moon in the 2nd house or 10th = profession involving emotions, which acting often does, bc it uses our emotions so we can be captivated by the characters and the story
their nakshatras lord being Saturn (Pushya, Anuradha, or Uttara Bhadrapada) or rahu (Ardra, Swati, Shatabisha) or the sun
placements in rohini and mrigashira (nakshatras)
other placements
ascendant conjunction sun
ascendant trine venus
mercury conjunction venus
Also a lot of famous actors were born in June
I will finish this post this week any requests?

The "empty Times Square" sequence in Cameron Crowe’s 2001 film Vanilla Sky remains one of the most haunting and technically impressive feats in modern cinema. While we live in an era where digital crowds can be deleted with a click, Crowe insisted on a practical approach to capture the visceral isolation of Tom Cruise’s character, David Aames.
The Logistics of Silence
On November 12, 2000, for one Sunday morning, the "Center of the Universe" went dark. To achieve the shot of Aames sprinting through a completely deserted Times Square, the production struck an unprecedented deal with the City of New York.
The NYPD closed off 20 blocks surrounding Times Square, starting at roughly 5:00 AM. The production was granted a strict three-hour window—from 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM—to capture the footage. This required a massive coordination effort involving over 80 police officers and dozens of production PAs to hold back the thousands of tourists and commuters who naturally gravitate toward the area.
The Cost of Ghosting NYC
While the exact "per minute" cost of the permit is often debated, the total expenditure for those three hours is widely reported to be around $1,000,000. This figure covered:
City permits and NYPD overtime.
Compensating local businesses for delayed openings.
The high-speed logistics of a massive film crew working against a ticking clock.
Director Initiatives and Execution
Cameron Crowe’s primary initiative was authenticity. He wanted the audience to feel the "dream-logic" of the scene through Tom Cruise’s genuine physical exertion and the eerie, natural echoes of a silent metropolis.
Steady-Cam Work: To capture the frantic energy, the crew used Steadicams and a crane, allowing the camera to weave around Cruise as he realized the world had vanished.
The "No-CGI" Rule: Aside from some minor touch-ups to remove stray reflections or a rogue pedestrian in the far distance, the emptiness is real. Crowe famously noted that the silence on set was "deafening," a stark contrast to the usual roar of Manhattan.
The Emotional Core: Crowe directed Cruise to play the scene not just with fear, but with a growing sense of existential dread, using the massive, unlit jumbotrons as a metaphor for Aames’ own hollow life.
The result is a cinematic landmark. In a pre-9/11 New York, seeing the city that never sleeps finally close its eyes was a jarring, beautiful image that CGI simply couldn't have replicated with the same soul.
