What would surprise us about Riel?

When Riel was younger, his obsession with symmetry was way stronger: he believed it was the aesthetic ideal, Platonic perfection, if you will. From ages like 6-14, this led him to part his hair perfectly in the middle. It made him look like a huge dork, and badly impacted how seriously people took him... He assumed it was because he was a child (which was already annoying in itself), but it was really because he looked like a particularly hangdog, scraggly sheepdog with bangs. Seriously, Rielmancers may be tempted to picture something cute, but it WASN'T CUTE. Not on him. Are you picturing a hot K-pop guy in your head and thinking, 'wait, Riel could rock a symmetrical part now as an adult'? No. Picture Dwight Schrute.

That was a tough lesson for him to learn... perfect symmetry isn't always best, Riel!
