Hello Kitty Tiaras

The first one was created by Sanrio in 2004 to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Hello Kitty. It’s made of pearls, pink diamonds, black diamonds, and colorless diamonds set in platinum.  It cost three million yen which is a little less than thirty thousand USD.

Then in 2014 for the 40th anniversary, Sanrio partnered with Mikimoto to make a whole Hello Kitty collection of jewelry including a tiara.  It’s made of pearls, mother of pearl, rubies, onyx, and diamonds set in white and yellow gold.  According to Mikimoto the tiara is worth one million USD but is not for sale, sorry @riffraffrouge​.

Ok, but I’m the same way. The fact that we get baseball and hockey is the best part of 2020. I can’t wait to wear my Lundqvist jersey I got for my birthday but haven’t been able wear yet.

Love that no matter what time of year it is (USUALLY) one of my favorite sports is on. I am so goddamn happy to be watching baseball rn

How was your Eid? Hope you’re doing well!

My Eid was actually pretty busy and stressful, to be honest. But I was really happy to dress up and take family photos despite it all. We prayed at home which as different but nice. We did our best to keep up with as much of our routines and traditions as we could, which really helped the day feel as special as possible. 

But yeah, I’m doing... okay. Overall I’m feeling better than I would have this time last year, but the world is a crappy place and that’s hard. How about you? I hope you’re well!

I meant to send this days ago, but Happy Passover! Hope you and your family are able to celebrate even though things are more difficult this year.

HIIIII!!!!! If anyone needed more proof that you’re the purest cupcake well here it is! Thank you for thinking about me even though I’ve barely been around lately.

I actually wasn’t with my family this year, for the first time in my life. I don’t know if you’ve heard but we had a complete lockdown on the whole country before Passover to avoid people inviting/being invited for the Seder. So I couldn’t get to my parents’ home. I spent the Seder with my friend who lives 5 minutes from me instead. It was very weird not to be with the family, but also interesting to see how other people celebrate Passover.

I hope you had a good Passover and that you’re staying safe at these crazy times <3

I like the monthly but maybe you could release the monthly break downs quarterly if that makes sense? If you’re busy, don’t try to force yourself to put them out monthly or it may become a chore for you.

Hmm that’s actually a pretty good idea! I might have to start doing that or something similar. Thankfully there’s less data than where was last year (cause... you know... some people aren’t doing engagements at all), so hopefully finding a rhythm will be easier. The January post is actually ready to go up so... be on the look out! (the graphs are super pretty this year! just ask @duchessofostergotlands)
