Why was Peter flirting with a smuggler? He didn’t really know, it probably had something to do with the fact that they were both about to die. If he was being honest it probably had more to do with the fact that the smuggler was attractive.
Both were powerful motivators.
Imperial Tie Fighters kept up their bombardment of the ship they’d both crammed themselves into and the shield integrity was dropping fast. But they were still alive. Yes, for now, they were still alive. Peter held fast to that fact and kept flirting.
“You’re a pretty good pilot handsome, ever think about joining the rebellion?”
@sunsreign - Aaaa Fawn’s Rapunzel is pure magic. She nails her personality so well and her writing is fantastic. Also she’s a cutie pie and we really gotta talk/interact more asfhbkfgs !!!!
@umbrrage - Awesome Shadow blog and also such a friendly person to talk to. Amazing graphics and super great with all they do.
@hoopsheartthrob Katie doesn’t follow me here, but she deserves so much of a shout-out. I adored her Lola since day one, and she’s such a kind, cool, and sweet soul. She captures Lola’s sass and tomboy attitude perfectly.
@onescwewywabbit / @sweetashoncy - Amanda is so kind to me and such a great friend, I honestly do not deserve her. Her passion for all her muses really shows in her writing, and I’m blessed to know a person with such good humor, great talent, and wholesome heart.
@ekidvna - BEST KNUCKLES EVER, NEED I SAY MORE? Vas is so super awesome with writing Knucky, I can literally hear Dan Green with everything she writes for him. Honestly, he’d be super proud and impressed if he read your blog. Kudos.

‘ why don’t we take a nap together? we can be nap buddies. ’
it was never a hard decision, especially when she was as EXHAUSTED as she was. but that’s the price she paid for staying up until the endless hours of the night, the early hours of the morning and eventually - unintentionally - watching the rising sun as she worked on such an intricate painting. it was always her excuse, really, but when she was on a roll she just couldn’t get herself to stop. even when five in the morning rolled around. with a small yawn, rapunzel made herself as comfortable as she could and held out her arm, as if to call for aladdin to join her. “from HERE ON OUT, you’re my designated nap buddy. c’mon, al.”
@riffrcffed said: "Mamà Imelda, /why/ do I got a bedtime," Aladdin says, huffing. "'S'not like 'm gonna /grow/. I wanna stay up an' watch Julio make the shoes!"
❁ ❁ “ No, pero that’s not any reason for you to be awake at this hour. ” Bending over, she promptly picked him up & began to head down the hallway. She could feel him struggle in her grasp, but her arms remained firm & still. “ You can see it in the morning, when there’s light outside. You’ll get a much better view of it, I’m sure. For now, though, ¿doesn’t a nice, warm bed sound good to you? I’m sure you’re very tired from running around all day. ”
In responce to @riffrcffed ‘s open letter to @imbicilite
Since you decided to post this publicly and tag Whit, I hope you don’t mind some other opinions. I’m going to try to keep this just to the most important points. You’re allowed to have your opinions of course, but if you’re going to post them publicly for the sake of open transparency, you should expect some people to disagree with you. But, for the sake of honesty, I do disagree with you on almost every point you said.
Putting under a readmore because of the length and content. There is plenty of talk of things like abuse, so please be warned.
(note: edited slightly for wording in the first paragraph and including the link that I forgot to actually put in.)
First off, someone disclaiming something ooc does not mean they’re actually doing it. Sometimes it’s to clarify for people who might not understand. The way Whit writes Lefou is not the average depiction of abuse victims, as you point out quite a bit. Whit is trying to make it clear that while the way he writes Lefou is not an average portrayal, they don’t mean to disrespect anyone. Nothing wrong with that.
The main issue that causes some misunderstanding between you and Whit here is talk of the recovery process. You think that because Whit is not portraying a recovery for Lefou, that he is somehow mocking the recovery that many survivors of abuse go through. However, this is not the cause for all victims. Think about it. Abusers pull tactics to get you to think like they want you to. Sometimes, they succeed in brainwashing their victims. Sometimes to the point that victims fall in love with their captors. Most people in the Disney fandom do know a bit about Stockholm syndrome I believe? You still might find it useful to read this Wikipedia article if you are interested in thinking more about this. If hostages can start to fall for captors after just a few days or weeks, imagine what some people would experience living with an abuser for years. Now, not everyone has this reaction. But some do. Are we to ignore people who have suffered so badly that they believe everything their abuser says just because they do not recover from that abuse and they cannot call out the horrible things done to them? I don’t think so. Neither does Whit. Whit makes that very clear in his ooc posts. Just because LeFou will not recover doesn’t mean that his abuse is okay, or justified, or that he wasn’t abused at all. Please, before calling someone out for not portraying an abuse victim properly, consider that not all abuse victims have the same story that you and your friends do.
Now, for the trigger portion. I find it important to stress that Whit was not saying “These are the only triggers anyone could have.” They are discussing their own triggers, and asking people to use discretion when calling something a trigger. Not everyone will be triggered by pictures of food. Someone Whit is interacting with might be triggered by some of the things you describe, like rape, and which point I am sure Whit would happily tag it. Whit is not trying to police what constitutes as a trigger. Rather, Whit is asking that the word trigger be reserved for things that bring about medical emergencies, like panic attacks, seizures, etc. People using trigger to describe other words has let to people assuming that “trigger” means “something you are uncomfortable with” instead of “something that could severely harm your health.” Whit and many other disabled people want to preserve trigger as a term so that their conditions can be taken seriously. That doesn’t mean they want anyone to be triggered or uncomfortable even. But if you are uncomfortable, why not just say “this makes me uncomfortable” instead of saying it triggers you? Because by saying it triggers you, you are implying that you will have a medical emergency when someone brings that up. And if you are not trying to imply that, then why use the word trigger? Why not use a word that more accurately describes your experience in order to preserve the meaning of a word that people desperately need?
I also find the way you talk about different painful life experiences to be undeserved. Whit never even implied that their life was more difficult than someone elses, so why do you feel the need to demean Whit’s experiences? Whit knows that having GERD is not the same as having cancer. But there is no need to act like whit is saying that their experiences are worse because they never did. Furthermore, let’s not play the suffering Olympics. My girlfriend feels like she’s on fire. All the time. That’s her disability. And when I stub my toe? She is worried for me. Pain is pain, she says. Just because she is on fire doesn’t invalide my stubbed toe. GERD is, as you say, an unfortunate thing to live with. Don’t make Whit feel bad for talking about his disability just because it’s not cancer. That’s extremely rude and you need to stop that.
And to end? Why start with an “open letter for transparency?” Why not start by talking to Whit about some of your concerns directly? This feels less like an open letter and more like an attempt to shut Whit down. I do hope I’m wrong about that, but regardless. Next time, start in private, then go public. Actually talk to the person you disagree with before dragging stuff out, maybe you will learn a thing or two in the process.
A’ight, a’ight! Marry Jasmine, kiss Genie, cuddle Al I GUESS? And push away Jafar.”
“Why Ozzy, you little puddin’, you! Didn’t know you felt so strongly. C’mere, sugar~!”
Cue the genie batting eyelashes goofily, then planting a cartoony smooch on the cell’s lips whilst grabbing his cheeks. The germinator splutters and coughs, wiping his mouth then spitting in the opposite direction.
