Good morning... I just woke up from a terrifying dream where everyone had been turned / was being gradually infected with a hive mind controlled by who knows what and I was running out of places to escape to. The interesting part was that half the male population had died instead of getting the hivemind thing and the remaining half was being rounded up like cattle and most of them weren't even thinking of assaulting female escapees as a result lol but anyway my continuous attempt to escape was definitely the most important part. Especially from this group of like idk five women who were obsessed with finding out why it wasn't working on me (and several other women)

me : *cracking my knuckles* I get that we come from different backgrounds. I get that you have your reasons and that’s fine; that’s your business. But there is almost nothing, if not anything that you could say to me that would make me understand how Hillary is worse than someone who is known to be complicit with white supremacy, someone who is already costing Native Americans lives and who’s vice president wants me shocked until i’m straight and wants me to be a piece of meat for men. There’s no difference for me. I know there should be but there isn’t. This is a matter of Safety for me. This is a matter of will I be okay to hold my girlfriend’s hand or marry my fiancee, or adopt kids with my wife. This is a matter of if my lady friends god forbid get pregnant and need to have an abortion will they be safe. This is a matter of if trans and nonbinary people get access to hrt and the procedures they need to live their life to the fullest. It’s not just politics, it’s personal.
