He would’ve laughed if he wasn’t seething in front of the man. Warren very well could reach out and strangle him, break his pathetic neck in his hands. He wanted to, and badly. Something was holding him back from doing it, keeping his hands curled into tight fists at his sides.
“You shot me. Left me to die in a fuckin’ irradiated pond below that cliff, but I didn’t. ‘Cause guess what?” One hand tugged down the bandanna tied around the lower half of his face. A patch of skin on his right cheek stood out, scarred as if he had been burned but not quite the case.
