Questions 25 and 42 for anyone!
Tricky tricky questions dang. In that case I’ll use my main Hoepian 4 for this one, AND THANK YOU FOR ASKING THE THINGS, THANK YOU THANK YOU. Dear goodness gracious thank you so so sososo much.
25. What do they find funny? Do they have a good sense of humour? Are they funny themselves?
Terra DOES have a mild sense of humour, but rarely shows it much. Icr what she’d actually find funny herself as she comes off as very serious, though perhaps maybe the kind of jokes where you EXPECT a thing to be serious as frick but turn out very very silly? She can also get angry at such situations but you bet she MIGHT crack a smile from it, she just won’t like being amused from it lol. She will on rare occasions throw a pun or sexual joke at Riivar just to see Riivar howl in laughter and surprise at the same time.
Demauria may one day grow a sense of humour, but I don’t think she will for a loooong time. She’s been pretty hardened to life to really laugh or be amused by anything. She would more likely just pull up a wtf face in confusion to the humour. She doesn’t get jokes too much yet.
Despite her classiness, Riivar is quite the nerd and loves some of the worst jokes. Puns and sexual jokes (on that note, if she were to see a d*ck shaped plant she’d snigger from the sight of it) if they’re particularly good she’ll just SNIGGER THE HECK from. She knows how to be somewhat funny even though she prefers only to be so with close friends. Her laugh is actually very contagious and could make someone laugh until they were out of breath just from the mutual laughter.
Kayla is easily amused and likes pretty much any jokes that aren’t morbid or dark. The sillier/cuter the jokes the better. As far as I know she isn’t good at jokes herself, she just lets the “professionals” do the joking.
42. What are their goals? What would they sacrifice anything for? What is their secret ambition?
Hmm…. at the start of the story Terra’s goal is to find the story/secrets behind Kayla’s powers, and help Kayla be less fearful of them. As for ambitions, Terra’s is to make a breakthrough in the Mana Tech industry, or otherwise discover/create a new technique or technology that’d be unique. Terra would sacrifice to protect her adoptive family and her close friends like Kayla.
Demauria’s goal is to find more about her Clan’s culture, and more about the background of the Fallen Slayers (which she is a part of). Her ambition is destroy the Fallen Beasts from their planet. Hard to say what specifically she’d sacrifice everything for, as she had nearly did that several times in her life already with quite a bit of remorse/guilt after it and isn’t sure if she’d do it again.
Riivar’s goal in life and ambition is to continue making her fanbase (and others who aren’t in her fanbase) happy, for her to be the best most famous celebrity around (she kind of has already done that). I’m not entirely sure what she’d sacrifice everything for.
Kayla isn’t really goal-driven or ambitious (adventurous but not ambitious xP). After a certain point in the story she would sacrifice anything to protect Terra. She’d even make herself to be what she fears most if that’d be what it took to protect Terra.
