[09.12 AM] Bestfriend!Shotaro would make sure he doesn’t see the clock striking a minute late leaving her to wait on him for their coffee stroll “bestie-date” instead he got into the café without her in sight letting him to get his orders first while he waits.
“Sorry I’m late! I had to help my granny..” she chirped, pulling the chair across his for herself to take a seat and catch her breath.
Shotaro smiled his sweet smile down at his volcano cake thinking of how once again this girl could make his heart flutter by the little things before sliding the chocolate frappe drink to her making her to look up at him “you ordered for me first?”
“Uh huh, your favourite right?” He asked and she nodded in agreement.
“Where are we heading next?” She asks breaking the short silence
“We could go to the vinyl store a few blocks down from here.. I lost the bet and it might be about time we get whichever ones you want today.”
“Hmm that’s true...” She smiled, but her gaze didn’t leave his face, counting every blink from his eyes, a sudden guilt crept in slowly and talked into her “You know, I was just joking about the bet.”
“You were? Then we could just go wat-“
She gathered her belongings while slurping the last bit of her chocolate drink and didn’t let him finish his sentence nor changed her mind after knowing so well that he’s just teasing her at this point “But you’re a man of your word, am I right? Let’s go”
Shotaro chuckled tilting his head in acceptance of his week long defeat “Fine then.”
