some kind of spring. adjusting to new bipolar and anxiety meds is hard & overwhelming & while i appreciate rebirth, it still hurts
continuing my series on honoring maghrebi jews & maghreb culture, here’s a lighter piece for shabbat. the object in the middle is my rendition of moroccan menorahs, which usually have beautiful elaborate backdrops and candleholders on the base. lots of maghreb symbols & the border is inspired by north african textiles and carpets.
