He told her to run there and to never look back, to join his pack and to survive.

Oh my goodness I miss the code so much!!1: What inspired you to write the fic this way?I wanted to write a fic that showed the struggles of a hunter who had dishonoured her family code.3: What's your favorite line of narration?The rifle, secured by a strap, bounced againsther back as she ran, the metal handle digging into her shoulder bladesuncomfortably – but she didn’t have time to think about that, nor did she havetime to readjust it, her assailant was close, she could feel him, she could smell him.5: What part was hardest to write?Writing Riley’s journey to Beacon Hills. I wasn’t sure whether or not I should focus more on it. Whenever I return to The Code I’ll probably mention it and the things Riley experienced during it a little more.7: Where did the title come from? I called it The Code because it is the hunters code that meant Riley had to leave her life and family behind.9: Were there any alternate versions of this fic?Not so far, although I do love crossovers - there have been a few with Freya cause she is sunshine and gets on with everyone!11: What do you like best about this fic?I love Freya and how she is so welcoming to Riley, I love their instant friendship.13: What music did you listen to, if any, to get in the mood for writing this story? Or if you didn't listen to anything, what do you think readers should listen to to accompany us while reading?Oh gosh I’m not sure, I know theres certain Halsey songs that give me Freya feels but otherwise I’m not sure.15: What did you learn from writing this fic?That writing Teen Wolf fics is HELLA HARD. It was my first attempt and I ended up putting it on hiatus fairly quick :(

Gender: Female

General Appearance: Blake has her mothers face and lean body shape, with Scott’s dark hair.

Personality: She is incredibly driven like both her parents, and motivated to always do the right thing. She’s a bit of a perfectionist.

Special Talents: Blake was a born werewolf, and after spending pretty much the entirety of her early life at the vet surgery with Scott she eventually discovered that she could communicate with the majority of the animals. Much to Scott’s amazement.

Who they like better: She couldn’t choose, she loves them both.

Who they take after more: Probably Scott, Riley is a lot more sarcastic than Blake and her dad.

Personal Head canon: She was named after Riley’s mom who had died, when Scott suggested the name it was the first time he’d seen Riley cry.
