The only reason Lydia was out at the moment was to pick up some medicine. She figured she’d give Stiles a break from having to do it, but Lydia really hoped she could get to the store and back without running into someone she knew. Of course this was Beacon Hills and she was Lydia Martin so that was impossible. As Lydia was heading to her car on the way out of the store she spotted a familiar blonde banshee and her heart sank into her chest. Of all the people to see, it had to be Riley. The only other banshee she knew of besides Meredith. The banshee she helped teach and train. It made anger wash all over Lydia’s body. Riley hadn’t done anything wrong but Lydia was furious. She was furious that she spent time helping people like Riley with their powers only to have hers taken away from her. And she certainly did not want to speak with the other girl. Lydia ducked her head down but she heard Riley call Lydia’s name so she knew she’d been spotted. The strawberry blonde paused for a moment as she contemplated but then kept walking to her car until she felt someone stop her. Lydia turned around, fake smile on her face. “Riley, hey. Didn’t see you there.” They had made eye contact so it was a blatant lie but Lydia didn’t exactly care.
