Riley took a drag of her cigarette with narrowed eyes. The focus of her annoyance was currently across the table, making eyes at some girl a few feet away. They’d been sitting at lunch together for something like fifteen minutes and she wasn’t sure if Kaiden had heard a single word she’d said. It felt like a waste of an oyster cracker, considering it was one of the few things Amelia was leaving her access to, but Riley was pretty sure the look on his face would be worth it, so she promptly threw it at Kaiden’s head. “Oi! Have you heard a single word I’ve said to you, Bailey?”
“Fuck!” Kaiden called out in surprise as the cracker flicked him against the side of the head; falling against the table in surprise as the chair he had been leaning back in wobbled fiercely. Cheeks blushing an embarrassing shade of red as the girl he had been eyeing began to laugh at him with her friends. “You’re throwing fuckin’ crackers at me now, Lyon? Seriously?” If it was anyone else that had done it, he was sure he would probably throw a fit - it wouldn’t be the first time he had stomped out of some place - but he couldn’t manage to do much more than roll his eyes at the blonde. Snatching the cigarette from her fingers to take a long drag, annoyed sigh leaving his lips in a curl of smoke before he continued. “You shouldn’t be smoking these.”
