It was very seldom that Yuka found someone who could bring out her worst qualities, even more so someone who wouldn’t put up with them. She knew she could be a brat most of the time, but since she was little everyone put up with it. At least, they were paid to put up with it. Yet, Caelen wouldn’t hesitate to check her attitude, he’d yell and she would yell back. She knew how to strike a nerve when it benefited her the most, and the worst part was that Yuka liked that about their relationship.
“Leave? Why should we leave? I thought you wanted me to be supportive, I’m being supportive. And I brought another customer,” she remarked, in the most innocent tone that she knew would only dig into him more.
Her plus one murmured a ‘maybe we should go,’ trying to diffuse the situation and moved closer, wrapping his arm around her waist.
