I'm reading this oldish K2/Kysterion fic that I never got around to finishing before and it reminds me of how much I love superhero/normal citizen pairings especially for K2 <3

Duddee yeess I love that shit. I don't care how cliché or whatever it is or how edgy Batman Mysterion seems I love that shit lol. It's just soo good and I feel like it just fits them well? Kyle is so justice driven already like how could it not pull his heartstrings or soothe his conscious in some way :')

Drop the Sheila pregnancy headcanons pls

okay so you know how kyle is a sickly child especially in the earlier seasons??? and how gerald and sheila adopted ike but they only have kyle as their biological son???

my headcanons for sheila and her pregnancy are that because of pcos, a former party lifestyle that included heavy use of alcohol and cigarettes, sheila had a lot of trouble getting pregnant and bringing a child to term :(

she had fertility issues, something gerald knew about before they got married. I think he would've been fine if they didn't have kids at all, but sheila is the one that fought for them to have a child, she wanted to be a mother even in jersey as s-woww, sheila harbored a desire for a stable and healthy and loving family, something she believed to be closed off to her until she met gerald in college

sheila struggled to get pregnant, even with trips to the obgyn, and sadly she suffered miscarriages and troubles with her own physical health she wouldn't give up, considering IVF, which didn't work, surrogates, but then she and gerald changed their minds not wanting to involve other people

they even thought about adopting as a last result but that wouldn't become a possibility until years later and even then they already had kyle so the reason for wanting to adopt had changed when sheila got pregnant with kyle, he was her last chance at having a baby that was hers, that came from her and gerald, so she was extremely cautious and spent a lot of time monitoring her pregnancy and praying at her family's synagogue until of course she and gerald moved to south park!

sadly even though kyle was born a healthy baby over the years he would get sick easily and nearly die multiple times causing sheila to become over protective :'(

6. Is creek really that great?

Um, yeah I'd say!! I guess it's really based on opinion. At the end of the day, it's very silly, and its origins are of being a crack ship, but I think that's what makes it so unique and fun and compatible with the show's tone!! It's such a fun pay on shipping culture and that's deeply tied to it's in show origins which is really fun (though also a bit disturbing) but doesn't really seem to take away from them naturally growing to like each other either. They DO have a good dynamic that works and we did sort of get to see them grow to be friends and get along better in a cute way.

It feels like the sort of thing that came together for pretty fucked up reasons but lasted because they work!

20. Name what jobs the main 4 will have when they grow up

I have no clue, I always end up giving them different ones. I'll just give some ideas I like:

Stan- Rockstar or alternatively a vet maybe. He technically has a medical degree or something in Post Covid so I think he could get into it!!

Kyle- Love that Kyle is a child psychologist, that's so sweet. I love making him really into computer science also, however. I could see him coding and maybe building/fixing computers as a side gig.

Kenny- SCIENTIST KENNY i can't take this away from him,, this is,,, this is peak Kenny,,, this is all I could ever want or need,,, He's an engineer specifically okay thank you

Eric- i have no CLUE,, business man probably. Though, he might suck at this. Idk, I have trouble seeing him staying in one job in general, most cases. Some sort of con-artist makes sense to me. I think he'd struggle though- Discipline is hard for him.

I mean, we all heard him, that boy’s bi af and full of love! In DT17, at least. I always thought of him as gay in DWD.

Drake of course, but also can we talk about the Wereduck? ‘cause I’m here for that.

For DT17, like, literally everyone. Launchpad deserves everyone’s love and respect. Everyone’s. Buuut primarily Dewey and Fenton. I also think he’d get along with Fethry real well, if the two ever met.

In DWD the pool is smaller but I like to think he still spends a lot of time with Clan McDuck. They’re not that far away, just across the bridge! But like, ultimately, also Drake. Drake may be a bitchboy sometimes but he’s Launchpad’s partner and also his best friend. They live together, they work together, they even vacation together. They are literally always together. It’s right there on the screen, y’all.

5: first headcanon that pops into my head

Launchpad’s fan script for the finale of Darkwing Duck is almost certainly not the only piece of fan fiction he wrote, not by a long shot! It was just the one he felt most confident sharing with Beakley. My boy is a writer at heart and I’ll hold onto that until I die.

6: one way in which I relate to this character

If I try to describe all the reasons why this post will turn into a novel. Low self esteem, desperate for positive reinforcement, neurodivergent, hyperfixate to the point where my loved ones find it annoying, failure as a personality trait, hardcore missed all the milestones to “adulthood” and am now 30 and live like a god damn ninja turtle, etc etc etc

7: thing that gives me second hand embarrassment about this character

mmmmm super don’t like the golf ball goof. I know the writers went back on it and I’m glad but it’s still in the show and I don’t like it.
