Holderfloete no.1 Elderberry flute no.1 ice age style rimblown. Without reverb and with reverb added. I developed the scale last year from descriptions and pictures of 40 000 years old flute fragments found in caves in southwest Germany. Lovage cane (Maggikraut) ice age flute and bamboo Tarahumara style ice age flute. Scale is my interpretation of original 40 000 years old flutes found in limetone caves in todays southwest Germany. The scale is xalled pentatonic major, pentatonic minor, egyptian, korean or mongolian, depending on the starting note and the order of the notes. Ithink a horse was walking across the bridge when I was playingvthe Tarahumara style flute. This gave me ideas of how some ancient drum rhythms might have evolved. There was a steppe land reached from western Europe to inner Asia during the ice age, full of horses and other grass eating animals. I harvested the lovage stalk last summer. It is from an old plant from my Grandmother and my Mother.
