Super belated, but this is the splash art I drew for my portrait generation mod for the game Rimworld! I had a lot of fun designing the character. As campy and extra as it is, I wanted a little lore/story around the mod. Basically the premise is that Penny Painter explores the world with one goal - to draw every person on the Rim. It's been such a wonderful (and labor-intensive lol) journey with the mod, but I am constantly moved by how kind and supportive the community has been. Working on this has genuinely changed my life.
