Wowee, I sure hope nothing bad happens to these two ever! I would first like to thank everyone for all the love you've shown for this AU! I was genuinely surprised by how much people liked my AU and showed interest in it! So, while I am still cooking things up, I am open to any questions you guys might have.

Huh? Is that a new Chiikawa special? Mermaids?! Wrong! It's a Blitzbee Bonanza!!!

The prompt I chose to work on was "Prompt 4: Unabashed self-indulgence", and I really wanted to make these two into Chiikawa characters. But, in the spirit of mermay, I also wanted to finally get to that mermay AU I've been thinking about in my noggin. No better way to jumpstart that than shipart, I guess lol.

i know you said in the comments of this post that Megatron isn’t that much taller than D-16 (and that Optimus had a growth spurt before he got eeby deebied into the past) but i think there is something to be said for that image. tiny runt of the litter D-16, who’s maybe half the size of his fellow miners, who’s only a head taller than a civilianframe, growing up so big that he towers over even other warframes. i don’t know, i just think there’s something powerful about that.

While absolutely not short now, I can imagine him being the shortest protoform of his group. Needing extra fuel and materials to grow into his mold, which —thankfully for him— was provided by his caretaker.

My worldbuilding headcanon is that, while mostly finished, Cold Constructs still have a growing period. It's extremely brief when compared to the rest of their function, but it's certainly there, and it's necessary to provide everything the protoform needs to successfully complete their growth.

This has been eating away at my brain and bathing in the resulting juice for MONTHS now- Inspired by this fan animation, my brain cooked up its own take on the time travel concept, which became its own AU.

The rough outline is: During an attack, Optimus Prime had to use the Magnus Hammer to shatter the Allspark Matrix to keep it away from Megatron's clutches. Causing both relics to shatter, Optimus gets hit with the full blast of the released energy of both objects, making him blackout. When he opens his optics, he finds himself in a mine, his wounds tended to, and a younger version of Megatron fretting over him. His only way out of the mines would be to depend on the future-warlord. He'll have to decide what to do with the miner and how it could affect the timeline, but with wounds as bad as his, he has to bide his time. For now, a fake name will be his shield.

That isn't the only time Optimus meets a past version of Megatron; in fact, it will happen Four (4) more times! A bit like chapters, I have named each of them "Miner", "Poet", "Gladiator", "Revolutionist", and "Warlord". Made it easier to explain to my besties where we are in the timeline when I recounted some ideas and possible plot points.

I once told a friend that most characters from TFA would look like women if you merely increase their hip sizes a little bit... Anyways, to be a bit more canon-compliant, I switched out the beard/goatee for cheek/chinguards (because I saw like two Female Autobots have those in the Almanac).

Have these small previews of a bigger project I've been chipping away at for... A While- Just so you guys have an idea of the progress: Two (2) out of Six (6) whole pages are done, with page 3 being nearly finished with the lineart stage.
