[000] The Ring Pointillist "Student" Morgen

ID acquisition line: "Nothing beats the sight of fresh blood staining the canvases... It's truly a feast to one's eyes."

Morgen's having the time of her life in the Ring, that even her fairy peeks out to gaze at the art pieces with her. I gave her some changes that aren't present in the original Yi Sang ID like gloves, pretty neckwear and a different hat. That one is based on this guy. They really just let you go all out with gender presentation in the Ring huh? I noticed Yi Sang had grown out his hair a bit as well so I gave Morgen a really cute hair style that kept me staring (⸝⸝๑﹏๑⸝⸝) 10/10 ID, her happiest yet. Also while drawing the background, I kept thinking of my college's art room lmao. Grading day is hell everywhere.

The JM Tattoo: "Still with You"

I don't post here often, but I'm on here all the time. I love the parts of the Jikook community I follow, and I'm generally content to read the thoughts of those I follow without repeating more of the same.

If I'm honest, I've been a little concerned for Jimin and Jungkook very recently, for the possible toll this vague threat "she who will not be named" was making in those recent posts has taken on them- individually or as what I believe is a couple. And I do believe it was a threat, but this post isn't about that- except to say that I suspect it is at play in the extreme pulling back JK and JM have done from the super overt affection they were sharing with us after their military discharge, and I would guess that it has created added stress they didn't need while preparing for BTS' comeback. And maybe even spoilt, if only temporarily, plans they told us themselves they had to visit us more often together on Lives.

They don't owe us anything, but it sure was nice to see them so incandescently happy in one another's presence.

Back to my worrying little heart. They have both lost weight quickly- Jk in particular to more of a degree than we are used to seeing. That.Is.Not.Judgement. If it was their goal to get to their current weights as quickly as they did, I fully support that and I'm happy for them. They have access to the tools and people to make that a healthy process, and they get to be who and what they want to be.

What I'm saying is that in the context of the awfulness associated with the posts by "she who will not be named", it felt initially alarming. It made the mom in me worry. It made the Army in me worry. Because as Army we wish we could protect them from the people who try to tear them down, and losing weight quickly can be a sign of emotional struggle.

But then yesterday I also saw something that reminded me- and confirmed (for me)- that they have each other, that nothing as trivial as the bitter meddling of any third party can really fuck with that, and that they are still taking care of each other:

Jungkook's JM finger tattoo, which I absolutely believe has always been a declaration to Jimin. And the positioning of the ring on that finger yesterday. I think all but maybe really new Jikookers know that JK generally tries to avoid covering the J or even breaking up the J and the M. He occasionally allows the J to be covered with chunky rings, but yesterday he chose to only wear a gold wedding band style ring on that JM ring finger, and to make sure it didn't cover or break the space between the letters. I personally believe in the intention of that.

Jk is strong willed. He feels things strongly, and he does what he wants when he has a point to make. If things were not okay between them, I really believe he would be covering that J with a ring for now. Damn, if things were over he could have had polyc create a beautiful design to cover it and just tell everyone he got bored with the J, or simply never address it.

But he didn't. And I don't believe he ever will.
