Dragaux losing control of dark influence is so funny because like, by nature that stuff doesn’t automatically make you evil. It warps you, messing with your inhibitions and clouding your judgement. So him and Ring must have still been best buds by default.

It’s entirely possible that Dragaux tried telling his Best Most Supportive boyFriend in the Entire World in advance about his Cool New Idea to actively infect others, because additionally they’re collaborators.

So uh—
