hear me out, Phantom Of The Paradise Scooby Doo Episode.

i'm not a writer, forgive my ramble

pre-intro sequence is the Juicy Fruits dress rehearsal with the car exploding, pretty much untouched except no one dies bc it's Scooby freaking doo. winslow evil laugh

Mystery Inc is on the case bc one of the boys is becoming a roadie for The Paradise, i think Fred would for sure be a Juicy Fruits fan (maybe the rest of the band too but he stands out to me) and maybe we get a little exposition about it and Death Records, maybe Daphne is a Swan fangirl??

on the way in they run into Philbin trying to convince the juicy fruits to stay, saying they're under contract. but they're leaving out of fear. they ask em what happened, they tell em about the rehearsal- Philbin asks "if not you, who else will sing Faust in The Paradise?" and they're like "idfk man ask Swan" and Daphne is like "is swan HERE??" and Philbin is like "he's everywhereee wooaaahh" or something creepy idk.

I'd want a scene where they don't meet Swan straight away and have him talk to the gang through his weird shadowy box. keep a lot of his like, mysterious type, maybe red-herring kind of character? maybe during the audition scene where Phoenix fucking slays? i dunno when exactly but having someone go "Zoinks, that guy gives me the creeps!" would be cool for his character i think.

From there i think we could have a split-up section the episode. maybe a scene where they find the tape of the car scene and the zoom on Winslow. I think they'd probably meet Swan while snooping around, Swan would indulge them with the promise that they'd get rid of his "phantom problem". (could have a one-off joke about no flash photography???) Daphne and Velma could overhear Phoenix singing either in auditions or like, backstage and have a line like "jinkies, she can really sing! she must be the lead" and have Swan be like "no, no. she's just a background singer" and then they're like "oh, what a shame- who is the lead?" and that's how they introduce Beef and The Undeads. i think Beef would get along great with shaggy and scooby so maybe there's some shinanigans to be had there.

having Scooby and Shaggy sneak around and find Winslow in the sound room he got locked in (maybe even bricks or morter around as a clue??? maybe pages of the rewritten cantata and they're like "hey scoob, this is written for a girl- but Beef is the headliner!" or smthn) and have that become a chase scene. also in terms of clues, maybe one of the gang could find a torn piece of the banner Winslow puts over the juicy fruits banners at the very beginning, maybe it just says "Win" or "Faust" like not enough to be a real clue but it circles back just enough for the explaination at the end.

so we get the opening night of The Paradise, Beef is preforming and the light falls on him just like in the movie, but again he doesn't die bc it's scooby doo. big chase, big deal, oh no. following day/night, Swan is delighted by the show, he thinks it was great. Velma throws sus on him bc "maybe he's doing it for the publicity." but regardless, Beef's injured, he can't preform. Swan's like "that's fine, i'll just preform with Phoenix" and in THIS version Phoenix hasn't gone on stage yet so its kind of a surprise Swan's giving her a chance. Fred's like "ok it's time to set a trap" and the trap would be during the wedding show, and you can have shaggy and scooby be playing the backup dancers as the very common dress-up/crossdressing gag scooby doo does. and they roll Winslow up in a big curtain like a bug and he screams in agony and defeat lmao

they unmask Winslow and the gang pulls a "who tf is this" and Swan comes up behind and proclaims "Winslow Leach, the writer of my cantata and a thorn in my side" all dramatically or whatever. then Velma (who knew the whole time bc she's a nerd) explains the backstory of Winslow being in prision and Swan stealing the cantata. then i dunno maybe we could even have a scene of Swan and Philbin getting arrested (like twist villian kinda but not) and Winslow and Phoenix get their happy ending??? for me??? please??? 🙏

anyway it ends with a song from the og cantata they get to finally sing authentically and it ends with Scooby Doo popping out of the piano and saying "Scooby, dooby dooooo!!!" and it's a banger and im a genius

ARTFIGHT WEEK ONE ATTACKS!! #1 The Twins (Katnysac): first attack of the season, was technically a revenge from last year- finally lifted the weight on my concious (and battle ratio) w some cool cats to show for it B) #2 Goobers!! (mass attack): wanted to knock off a couple simple-shaped characters in my bookmarks! bunch a cutie patooties! #3 Silly Trifecta ( @the-tiniest-demigod @swesq21 SprinkledSprinkles): a couple bigger silly guys that didnt fit on the previous page,, went ahead and added some colors too :) #4 Kip ( @salami-for-cats ): a skittering little creature...who can resist drawing such a guy?? #5 Beethoven ( @seagiri ): fell in love the moment I saw them,, good colors, good vibes, no notes- had a lot of fun with this fella #6 Cloud (acekidwithnogender): first legal revenge of the season!! i love the cloud-hair trope kinda character, so she really spoke to me,, #7 Ponies On Clouds (mass attack): another mass attack!! meant to do this at the same time as the first ones, but got distracted- bunch of ponies hangin on coulds! #8 Spellbottom ( @hunny-lemmonn ): another revenge!! eye for an eye, pony for a pony >:) a sparkly spacey one too ! #9 Wacky Zany Trio ( @mypetratodie ): HIIIII BUDDY HIIIII !! #10 Thunder (MsTubby): another revenge!! i love the concept of a weather witch so i drew her making a sunny day :) #11 Eighteen ( @marbled-love ): Eighteen has been in my bookmarks for so long and finally i had a chance to strike...i love some good creepy eyes!

my prediction for the game changer s6 finale is it's gonna be inspired by the reality show The Circle. the iconic slow walk down the halls, clearly in a different building (hotel, maybe?), the number of contestants, the neon light loop-de-loop? its *gotta* be that. im also copium bc i love The Circle its my favorite reality show its so goofy I'd be soso hyped if im right

im back in my mlp era

one of my friends is writing a vampire infection AU, and ive been dragged into it. so im thinking about these silly horses a lot more now. some doodles! i tried to think of any unique head cannons, but nothing in particular came to mind other than fluttershy having a extra feathers in her coat.

i also have not watched the show since i was like, 10 , but it was still pretty easy to remember what they all looked like. maybe i was just recalling fanart, but i think it speaks to how strong the designs are and how into it i used to be- once you learn to draw a cartoon horse, you never forget.
