Hello all 10 of you that still use tumblr with me

how’re you doin in this fine panic of a quarantine during an election? And those of you not in the US, are you going back into lockdown? :C

I used to write here a lot.

I don’t know who still follows me from throughout this decade, and what you’ve read. Tumblr had been a diary for a long time.

Being a “follower” with me might have exposed to you a lot of really big moments with me. My time on this site had followed both my brother going to prison (twice) and my parent’s divorce. I don’t really have news I’d care to share for the latter, but thought anyone that’s still around would like to know about my older (middle) brother.

He’s been so much better off than I could’ve prayed for a decade ago. I would have felt greedy to ask for what he’s become with all of the obstacles those entwined with heroin must go through. He knows what his worth but still works very hard every day. He likes to go hiking often and now competes as a bodybuilder. He has a dog named Otis and had repaired his relationship with our eldest brother. He has a girlfriend!

“How to Save a Life” came on my Spotify while I was passively doing online shopping and found myself sobbing. It took me back instantly to those times I was terrified for my brother. Songs have a mysterious power. 

There’s really no sign-off or a proper thought to lead off to here, but I remembered who I used to share these thoughts with, and I don’t think I ever did an update since my brother got out. I know I don’t owe the news to anyone but I wanted anyone who might have wondered that’s he’s alright. (He’s great)

Thanks for sticking around and still reading my thoughts. From 14 year old me to now.

A decade later and I still don't handle rejecting people well

I'm a social butterfly like... in person. Also I'm nice to everyone. But then again what do you do when you learn a coworker senior to you wants you to move in with him and get married in Vegas?

Please don't assume I want to get with you because I'm nice to you. I also I have a boyfriend. Let me let YOU know if I'm looking for another.

I've been cosplaying for a decade now, and it doesn't REALLY mean anything but it's cool to look back on and consider what it is to me.

I know a few of you have been following me for... what, 7 years?  When I first started I told myself I could see me cosplaying forever, into being an old lady. Nowadays I keep imagining I'll /really/ slow down, maybe take a 2 year hiatus here and there.... but the plans just don't stop so how could I even begin to slow the roll??

Should I make a Tumblr just for a compilation of my cosplays? Would it be more convenient and make a difference, or is it just as well that you can go to my Tumblr and type /tagged/cosplay?

my boyfriend bought me a Switch, memory card, and BotW for my birthday ;;o;; I know this because he wanted to be sure to get a few things right- he knows I’m an A E S T H E T I C girl so he wanted to be sure I got the right color case and a particular skin for the Switch omfg 

I got him an Adventure Time watch, Life Straw, and a rope grenade thing for his, like gdi how can I compete with $$his wallet$$ to give the best gifts, this isn’t fair
