昨日のアーティストトークの写真がFTJの投稿に上がっていました。モデレーターは、Teater Komaのランガさん (Rangga Riantiarno)、Teater komaは、ジャカルタでも最も長く活動している劇団のひとつです。ランガさんがとても盛り上げ上手なのか、観客がそもそもそうだったのか。アーティストトークは非常に盛り上がりました。僕がもっと英語が上手だったらよかったんだけど。苦笑　通訳のアル君、プリタさんに感謝です。 Photos from yesterday's artist talk were posted on FTJ. The moderator is Rangga Riantiarno of Teater Koma, one of Jakarta's longest-running theatre companies. Is it because Mr. Ranga is really good at creating excitement atmosphere, or because the audience was like that in the first place. The artist talk was very lively. I wish I could speak English better. Thank you to Al and Prita for the interpreter.

昨日の舞台写真です。 照明がとても繊細なので少し怖く見えますが、肉眼で見るとじっさいとても美しい舞台でした。俳優のみんなにはもちろん、照明デザインの久松さん、音響デザインの和田君、そして何よりも、献身的に働いてくれた劇場スタッフとフェスティバルスタッフに感謝です。 Here are some photos from yesterday's stage. The lighting is so delicate that it looks a little scary, but when you see it with the naked eye, it was a so beautiful stage. I am grateful to the actors, of course, Ms Yuka Hisamatsu for the lighting design, Mr Masashi Wada for the sound design, and most of all, the theatre staff and Festival staff who worked so dedicatedly.

shelf「Rintrikーあるいは射抜かれた心臓」ジャカルタ公演、無事終了しました。激しいスコールを考慮して開演を30分遅らせた初回16:30からと、20:00からの2回公演。いろいろな要素が絡み合って、2020年の初演よりはるかに懐の深い良い作品になりました。 何よりこの2年間、何十回と回数を重ねで来た Lab Teater Ciputatとのリモート／オンラインでのミーティングやクリエイションのおかげではないかと思います。彼／彼女らとの対話を経て、Rintrikという作品や、ダナルトという作家に対して、さらにはインドネシアにおけるイスラムの教えについて、理解がずっと深められました。 ジャカルタのお客様にもたいへん楽しんで、刺激を受けて貰えたようで、終演後のアーティストトークもとても盛り上がりました。 今日は一日オフ。明後日から一週間は対面では初めてのLab Teater Ciputatのメンバーとの合同ワークショップ／クリエイションです。 さあ、頑張るぞ。 Shelf's "Rintrik - or the Pierced Heart" at Jakarta has ended successfully! Two performances from 16:30 and 20:00. (For the first show, we made it change from 16:00 due to a hard squall.) Various elements are intertwined, and it has become a much deeper and better work than the premiere in 2020. Above all, I think it's thanks to the dozens of remote/online meetings and creations with Lab Teater Ciputat over the past two years. After talking with them, we gained a much better understanding of the work of Rintrik, about the writer Danarto, and the teachings of Islam in Indonesia. The audience in Jakarta also seemed to enjoy and be inspired, and the Artist Talk was lively after the performance. We have a day off today. For a week from the day after tomorrow, it will be the first face-to-face joint workshop/creation with members of Lab Teater Ciputat. Come on, let's do our best.

shelf「Rintrik ― あるいは射抜かれた心臓」（作／ダナルト）が今回招聘されたジャカルタシアターフェスティバル2022（Lebaran Teater Festival Teater Jakarta 2022）の今年のテーマは、"記憶とそれから”（Ingatan dan Kemudian, 英語だとNow and Thenかな。） この3年間のパンデミックを経たその前後とこれから先の未来を考えます。shelfのRintrikもコロナ禍の2020年の東京で初演を迎えた作品で、あの時の空気が色濃く反映された作品になっています。 ただ、同時にRintrikという作品の持つ、あるいはダナルトという作家の生きた時代の背景（ダナルトの生没年は、27 Juni 1940 – 10 April 201, まさに政治と戦争とクーデターの最中を生きた作家で、Rintrikは1975年発表されたGodlobという短編小説集の中の一編です。）が言葉の節々から見て取れる作品なので、その時代の"記憶とそれから”をも表現出来ればと考えて、時代と出来る限り誠実に向き合って今回の作品を制作しました。 ちなみに上で日本語訳してなかったフェスティバルのプログラム名にあるLebaran TeaterのLebaranは、1カ月に渡るイスラム教徒の断食、ラマダンの後、毎年または毎月祝われるイスラム教徒のごちそうのことだそうです。まさに祝祭ですね。 この舞台では、政治的／歴史的なテーマを寓話として扱いつつ、同時に現代を生きる我々の生を見つめ直し、言祝ぐことが出来ればと願っています。 The theme of this year's Lebaran Teater Festival Teater Jakarta 2022, where the Theatre Company shelf "Rintrik - Or the Pierced Heart" written by Danarto was invited this year, is "memory and then" (Ingatan dan Kemudian.) We think about the future, before, after, and beyond the past three years of the pandemic. shelf's Rintrik is also a work that premiered in Tokyo in 2020 during the covid-19 crisis, and it is a work that strongly reflects the atmosphere of that time. However, at the same time, the artist of the work Rintrik, or the artist Danarto (27 Juni 1940 – 10 April 2018), is an artist who lived in the midst of war and coup d'état. "Rintrik" is part of "Godlob", a collection of short stories published in 1975, and the atmosphere/context of the age can be seen from the passages of the novel's words. Therefore, I thought that I could express the "memory and then" of that era, so I created this work by facing the era as honestly as possible. By the way, "Lebaran" of Lebaran Teater, which is the program name of the festival, is a Muslim feast celebrated every year or every month after Ramadan, a Muslim fast for one month. It's exactly a celebration. On this stage, I hope that while treating political and historical themes as fables, at the same time we will be able to reconsider and celebrate our lives in the present age.

「Rintrikーあるいは射抜かれた心臓」リクリエイション作品＠ジャカルタシアターフェスティバル、昨日（12/6）の現地時間6:00pmから、劇場入りしています。 一昨日は着いた当日で、空港着は10:30頃だったんだけど、入国審査やVOA（Visa on Arrival）の取得、預け入れ荷物の破損から、みんあが事前購入していたデータSIMカード受け取りに時間を取られて、空港からホテルも渋滞があって、なんやかやで夕方に少し劇場下見が出来たくらい。みんな疲れていたので早めに休みました。 今日は直前になって劇場が6:00pmまで使えないことになった（何か別の団体が急きょ使うことになったらしい、）と事務局から言われたので、劇場が入っている建物のなかにあるリハーサルルームを借りて軽く通し稽古。 夕方6:30pmから劇場入りして舞台のバミリ、アクティングエリアの確認をして俳優たちはフェスティバルの他の演目（Teater Petraの「セールスマンの死」をゲーテインスティテュートジャカルタで！）を観に。けっこう刺激的な体験をして来たみたいです。 僕と音響の和田君は、別行動で劇場に残って音響仕込みと字幕用のプロジェクターのチェック。いろいろ事前に何度問い合わせても得られなかった情報がやっぱり現地に入ると一気に得られて、安心する反面、揃ってるはずのものが揃ってなかったりして、一喜一憂...するようなこともなくそれはそれで柔軟に対応。8:30pmくらいに作業を切り上げて今日（12/7）の作業に備える。 今日は10:00amから劇場入り。遅れて合流の照明久松さんが早朝にジャカルタに着くので、今日は照明仕込み優先で作業を進めます。今回は予約していたフライトが急にキャンセルになって、やむなく1日前倒して現地入りしているので、時間に余裕があるのがいろいろ余裕を持てる結果になってます。 公演は明後日、1日、2回公演です。ジャカルタでポピュラーな題材であるダナルトのRintrikを、日本人が上演する。それがどう、現地の観客に受け取られるか。楽しみでしかないです。 "Rintrik - Or The Pierced Heart" Recreation @ Jakarta Theater Festival, entered the theatre yesterday (12/6) at 6:00 pm local time. The day before yesterday, we arrived at the airport around 10:30 am, but due to immigration, VOA (Visa on Arrival) acquisition, the trouble of the damage to a member's checked luggage and time loss of receiving the data SIM card even we purchased in advance, and due to the traffic jam from the airport to the hotel, we delayed so much for check-in the hotel. However, somehow, we were able to preview the venue a little in the evening. We were all tired, so we went to bed early that day. The secretariat told me that the theatre became not be available until 6:00 pm today (some other group had suddenly decided to use the venue...!?), so we borrowed a rehearsal room located in the same building as the venue in and lightly rehearsed. At 6:30 pm, we entered the theatre to check the spiking (stage marking), and the acting area, and then the actors went to see the program of the festival ("Death of a Salesman" by Teater Petra at Goethe Institute Jakarta!). It sounds like they had an extremely exciting experience. Mr. Wada, the sound engineer, and I stayed at the theatre separately to prepare the sound and check the projector for subtitles. When we arrived at the site, we were relieved to find information that I had not been able to obtain no matter how many times I inquired in advance. We respond flexibly. Finish work around 8:30 pm and prepare for today's work (12/7). Entering the theater at 10:00 am today. Lighting Ms. Hisamatsu, who joined us late, will arrive in Jakarta early in the morning, so today we will give priority to lighting preparation. This time, the flight I had reserved was suddenly cancelled, so we had no choice but to arrive at the site one day ahead of schedule. The performance will be the day after tomorrow, the first day, and two performances. This is the performance of Danarto's Rintrik will be performed by Japanese artists. Rintrik is a popular story and theatre motive in Jakarta. How will the local audience receive it? I can only look forward to it.

先日、敬愛するライター／ジャーナリストの石戸諭さんから、僕ら三人（矢野、川渕優子、綾田將一）で、先日のshelf公演、『Ritrik―あるいは射抜かれた心臓』について取材を頂きました。 その記事が掲載された「サンデー毎日」の当該ページのコピーを掲載します。次の号も発売されたので、こっそりと。笑　コロナ禍でのリハーサルや公演を行うために準備したこと、対策、苦労など、主に演劇に関することを話していますが、演劇に限らない今を生きる人の営みについて、大事な話が出来たと思っています。ご一読ください。

東京-ジャカルタ長期国際共同制作プロジェクト、CROSSING TEXT: Between Mystery and Mystical phase1 として上演した『Rintrikー射抜かれた心臓』新作初演、全公演無事終了、そしてもう一つのphase1のかなめ、国際オンラインシンポジウムLIVE配信も無事に終了しました。 https://youtu.be/7BXal1NojYo LIVE配信では、実に250名以上の方々にご視聴頂けました。本当に有難うございました。 共同制作プロジェクトの企画背景、趣旨、今後の行方について、貴重な補助線が引かれた重要なシンポジウムになったと思います。アーカイブ視聴も出来ますので、ぜひご視聴ください。 シンポジウムでは、なぜダナルト『Rintrik』と三島由紀夫『卒塔婆小町』なのか？　ダナルトという作家とは？　三島由紀夫とは？　それらを現在、両国で上演する意味は？　などという重要な問いが、インドネシア側、日本側双方からなされました。2時間ではとても話し足りない内容でした。また改めて機会を作って、公演とは別にこうした催しを行って行きたいと思います。 通信環境や音響整備の非常に困難な環境のなか配信協力を頂いた山吹ファクトリー及びprecogの皆様には改めて御礼申し上げます。おかげさまでスムーズな議論、作品紹介や制作プロセスの紹介を、動画や写真を交えて行うことが出来ました。自分たちだけでは実現できなかった企画でした。 コロナ禍のなか、度重なるスケジュールの調整、内容のやむを得ない変更を何度もしながら、なんとか実現にこぎ着けた phase1、shelfの単独公演＋Lab Teater Ciputatのドキュメント映像上映＋国際オンラインシンポジウムでした。 内容変更に柔軟に対応して下さったアーツカウンシル東京他、関係各氏にも御礼申し上げます。 shelfは本当に小さなカンパニーで、我ながら身の丈を超えた大きな企画に挑戦していると思います。 観客や視聴者の皆様に対してはいろいろいたらなかった点が多々あったかと思いますが、頂いたご意見ご批判を真摯に受け止め、今後よりいっそう精進して参ります。 引き続きご支援、ご声援のほど何卒よろしくお願い申し上げます。 12月にジャカルタで上演を予定しているというLab Teater Ciputat『卒塔婆小町』については、いつか必ず日本でも紹介したいですし、何より僕自身が観たい。 共同制作のプロセスも先へ進めつつ、どこかで両作品（『Rintrik』と『卒塔婆小町』）を共に、日本、インドネシア両国の観客の皆様に見て頂ける機会も設けたいと考えています。これについては、共同企画者のBambangも同じ想いを抱いています。 両カンパニーとも、数年前の企画発案当初に想定してい状況と、この新型コロナウィルスのパンデミックという、世界がまったく異なる事態に直面している状況下で、芸術家として状況に素早く反応し、しかし時間をかけて、焦らずじっくり、丁寧に創作のプロセスに地道に取り組んでいます。またコミュニケーションも密に取り合っています。 企画に伴走し、創作プロセス、及び公演そのものや関連プログラムを一緒に楽しんで頂ける観客の皆様がひとりでも多くなるよう、鋭意努力して参ります。 まずは、コロナ禍の状況での国際共同制作プロジェクトはどうあるべきか？　という根本的な問い、課題に取り組みます。 続報、詳報をお待ちください。どうぞよろしくお願いいたします。 shelf、矢野靖人
