Alright...how about some Rin x Setsuna headcanons?
One of my favorite 1-B ships! I think about them a lot, they're like... canon to my headcanon verse. If you know what i mean. The class 1-B spin off that only exists in my head. And this blog, of course
Ok, so
- i love their dynamic because it's pretty much like this ^
Setsuna came to UA, said she's looking for bad boys, ended up falling for Rin who's literally everything but a bad boy
(Kendo probably thinks it's hilarious)
- The main reason why some people like this ship is because they both have reptile themed quirks, but that is actually very valid considering Setsuna's love for dinosaurs. 100% sure she started flirting with Rin two seconds after she found out what his quirk was
- he thanked her
- he didn't even realize she was trying to flirt and just took it as a compliment
- like Rin is a really smart guy, he has amazing grades and everything, but goddamit. he can be so romantically clueless it hurts. You could declare your love for him in the most blunt way possible and he would respond with "thanks that's very nice of you :)" or something like this
- This didn't change even when he actually developed a small crush on Setsuna (i think he liked her because... she's just really cool and pretty and powerful and really, who doesn't love her?)
- Tsuburaba couldn't stand that so he declared himself Rin's dating coach
- it did help actually, Tsuburaba has like zero experience but somehow gives the best dating advice??
- Setsuna was an expert already she didn't need anyone's help
- As for the actual relationship headcanons...
- They're probably the most cuddly couple in UA
- Even more so during winter because cuddles are a perfect way to keep Rin warm and Setsuna doesn't waste the opportunities life gives her
- They do each other's hair a lot! (Rin's hair actually looks very similar to Setsuna's when it's down)
- I like to think of them cooking together :) Setsuna isn't talentless at cooking, it's more like she never tried
- They complement each other well because Rin is an amazing listener, perfect for someone as talkative as Setsuna
- She probably got him interested in dinosaurs because she talked about them so much lol
- Both Setsuna and Rin were nervous about how Setsuna's family would react to the fact that she has a boyfriend, but they actually like Rin a lot because he's very polite and kind
- But Rin's family absolutely loved Setsuna at the very moment they met her (his family is just super wholesome in general)
- Setsuna wants to visit China with Rin one day and meet the part of his family that lives there. She loves listening to him when he's talking about his home country
