I saw this word in this lifeisdear post + we recently talked about fandom names + "one" also use it so some trivia

#1 Barry C. Lawrence uses that word on his book with a © symbol

#2 that is kind of cute but naive because some people used that word before him - not in bio books but I can remember at least one blog and one forum I can't found link now but in one of those cases it was used by an italian girl

#3 some people used after him but not all reading him first like my conimda "one" and many more - "one" told me she used that word in her mind long time ago but in spanish and when started talking english on tumblr she translated to equivalent one - I'm sure many people that use it are like her: Latin root mother languages and relation with 'cinephiles' and 'philias' because there are thousand words in many languages like that: name of thing + phile to express love or liking something so many people 'create' that word not only Barry or "one ;) 'riophiles' or 'riverphiles' are good words to express it but I usually see 'riverphiles' for actual rivers over our River ;)

#4 all nice words are great to call this fandom - I use others - I suggest all fans who want some fandom fun to find a word that can describe it according to their language or personal reasons :)

This just made my entire school year.

I thought I'd like to share this with you all(:

So today in AP World, my teacher ran up to me very excitedly and asked me if I looked at my chapter 8 and 9 test all the way that she passed back.  I told her that, no, I hadn't, and went looking through my binder when she told me to find it.  When I turned the first page of my test open, there was a lovely picture she had printed out of Riv stapled to one of the pages of the test!  It turns out, she is a huge River fan and heard from my mom (when they were talking at a meeting for teachers) that I loved him so much! We spent a good 15 minutes of the class period talking about River and how amazing he is and all of his work, and my teacher just won all of the awards, she is the best.

I am currently packing to go back over seas. These are all coming with me. Because I am DETERMINED to restart the rewatches.

I'm finally doing the riophile meme that anon mentioned this morning.

Not with tumblr people since I love and I'm grateful to a lot of you, and sure now I'll forget someone now, and then I'll be sorry, so for that I'm already doing this (incomplete yet) list. So with "other" riophiles, more... "celebs" ones.

- Favorite Riophile: Leonardo DiCaprio. I can relate him because his love&hate(?) thing, the eternal admiration with all that angst. He loves him but in all the quotes is like suffering... so I choose him.

- Least Favorite Riophile: Peter Pan's "Tinkerbell".

- 5 Favorite ships (canon or non-canon): River/dogs, River/cigarettes, River/microphones (even more than guitars), River/Martha, River/Keanu. Extra option: River/black colour (not very common but canon sometimes).

- Riophile I find most attractive: James Franco.

- Riophile I would marry: James Franco again. He has things that I love in men and things of the men that would be suitable for me so... perfect cocktail. Lesbic extra option: Erika Linder. The extra "we do this for helping each other" option: Keanu.

-  Riophile I would be best friends with: Martha. Kat Dennings: I'd watch SBM with her forever. And Gus Van Sant.

- A random thought: Dear Anne: it still hurts.

- An unpopular opinion: I think that not a single fucking person really understood (completely) the Phoenix puzzle, not even his family. So those riophiles (celebs or not) who talk so sure about him (his ideas or his acts) because they met him once or twice... come on xD

- My canon OTP: River/Martha.

- Most badass Riophile: Palahniuk.

- Riophile I feel that's more screwed up: Palahniuk again (in the good sense).

- Favourite friendship: River/Keanu.

- Riophile I want to adopt or be adopted by: my cat Cora, she's already adopted (by me) and hey, she's almost a celeb (that adorable bitch has more requests in Facebook than me xD). My Mr. Ph you know... he's more a Reznor guy, she's the riophile here.
