Rewatched First Class and Days of Future Past today and oooo myyy gooood
Hate those agents bullying the kids. But Shaw breaking in to recruit or prepare them for slaughter. It's also the fact he was waiting on Charles and now I can picture maybe Charles and someone (possibly Raven) switch places. Charles having to refrain himself going into the agents minds to leave them alone. Sacrificing himself to Shaw as a prisoner to keep the others safe telepathically telling Hank that when Raven and Erik come back to tell Raven to go home as in Westchester. Shaw using Charles as bait for Erik and a means to end the world (at least humans and to replace Emma) maybe he starts experiments on Charles similar to how he did Erik and Charles makes the remark of "I was a lab rat once. Never again." Referring to his childhood with his dad and stepdad. But Charles can't beat Shaw in physicality or with the telepathy bc of the helmet but Charles is ready to go down to bide the others time. . . . .
Then in Days of Future Past when Raven saves Alex and the other mutants. If Raven had just told Alex where Erik was i believe he'd at least visit Erik maybe not break him out but he'd at the very least lay the fuck in to him for how Erik ran and left Charles disabled, the more Erik was in the news and the how the world was going Charles slowly becoming more hollow. Alex wants to punch him but can't bc they're talking through a clear plastic wall. Bc every thing is plastic concerning him.
Alex wants Erik to suffer even worse than Charles bc where Erik is, Erik has it better than Charles does.
But imo the reason Raven doesn't is because she knows on some level what Alex plans to do. Not only that but perhaps she's heard whispers of how Charles has become and wants to hurt Erik herself bc it's easier to blame someone else even if you were attached to it as well.
