both  my roommate and i do hw in our dorm room and my roommate likes to play music out loud which normally isn’t an issue bc we have similar music tastes but rn im trying to study so i keep getting distracted and when i put my own music on over with headphones i can’t listen to what i normally would (instrumental or asmr) because they’re not loud enough to drown out her music but i dont wanna ask her to shut it off or put headphones in bc i hate confrontation
