Tom Hiddleston, Mia Wasikowska, Anton Yelchin and writer/director Jim Jarmusch at the "Only Lovers Left Alive" premiere during the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival at Ryerson Theatre on September 05, 2013 in Toronto, Canada.
Dearest Anton,
Today would have marked your 30th birthday. Today would have been filled with birthday wishes rather than ones that broke and warmed out hearts all at once.
I swear this gets harder every year but I'll keep it short and simple. The amount of lives you impacted without even realizing is astounding, the amount of people you inspired is even larger than one could have imagined. It breaks my heart that there will be no new movies or interviews where we will hear your take on a character or subject. That there will no longer be characters that seemed to be written just for you. That your beautiful smile that was full of life no longer feels the same when I see it.
Happy birthday, Anton.
I can't believe it, thirty years old and instead of a wish for happiness, it's became a wish for your memory to live on.

Anton
It’s been a year. Part of me still can’t believe that Anton’s gone. I wanted to take a moment to just write about what I’m thinking and feeling right now as I look back on the past year and consider how much Anton affected my life, because the more I think about it, the more I realize how important he and his role as Chekov was, is, to me. Bear with me.
Charlie Bartlett is such an underrated masterpiece
Yes, well, GRACIAS Diego Luna for getting me hooked on Trollhunters. Not that I could have used my afternoon for better things than sitting at a coffee shop drinking lattes and crying over Aaargh. Ugh
I’m watching a movie with Anton Yelchin in it and he’s speaking in an American accent..... I’m not used to it
