this is suuuper annoying bc This Was OPTIONALLLL!! the gap between B2W2 and SV can be as small as like... 2 1/2 years if you're so inclined. there's just the 2 year gap between B2W2 and SM to keep in mind, as well as the fact that SM and SwSh both have to happen before SV. but the interval between them can literally be a week. the world is your oyster, you've got all kinds of leeway there.
in fact, it actually makes more sense for SV and the indigo disk to happen before ZA, bc Drayton is mentioned in ZA and why would he be so famous as to be mentioned in Kalos if he was still in school... but my chud ass wrote in a 6 year gap for fun. WHAT ARE WE DOING ?>?!>?@>?@>?!

The other troll - a lich, was it called? - stabbed her trident into the wall next to Azueta, who instinctively ducked away. “Stop! You don’t have to do this!”
“You… shouldn’t have come here.” The lich’s voice was old, as brittle as dead leaves, fitting for their appearance. She pulled her weapon back in a smooth, fluid, slithering kind of motion.
“I know that. I’m telling you, you don’t have to do this. I’m not here to rob you, I’m here to search– to search for…” she couldn’t think of a lie on the spot. And she was supposed to be a storyteller! Damn. “For trolls, you know. Like you! I came out here because, yeah there was a building, maybe–”
The lich grimaced at the young troll’s clumsy attempts at pacification. She could already tell, they weren’t going to change her mind. She stabbed the trident into the wall again, closer this time. “Do not tessst me.”
“Then- then what am I supposed to do? Just lie down and fuckin’ accept my death? Cause I’m Azueta fucking Calept, and I’m not going to do that!”
Stubborn troll, thought the lich. She was honestly getting tired of toying with the unfortunate trolls that thought they could get away with lying to her, stealing from her hive-manor, everything. Perhaps it was time to just burn it all. But first…
