Hearing the news about Caroline Flack's passing and it's shook me. It doesn't matter who you are, what you have or haven't done or how old you are, we should all be kind to each other. Social media is such a big part of our lives but can be so so harmful. No matter what you may think of a person or what's gone on in their lives, nobody should have to suffer constant abuse and criticism to the extent that someone thinks that suicide is the only way out. We should all take responsibility and always strive to be kind to each other. And the press/news should take note and learn to not print such shitty articles constantly hounding an individual because it is so damaging to mental health & wellbeing. As I have said before on here, there is a clear difference between criticism of a celebrity (or mutual) and straight out disgusting hate comments that should never see the light of day. Whether or not Caroline has or hadn't made mistakes, this should never have happened. How many more celebrities & ordinary people have to die before we finally learn that our words hurt? How many more suicides does there need to be before we except we all have a responsibilty to always be kind to each other with no exceptions? RIP Caroline, I'm sorry that you felt this was your only way out.
