Florence Amelia Lilard (née Roth)
Florence was born the daughter of middle class merchants on the islands of Windenburg in 1880. She grew up an only child and quite lonely, dreaming of having her own large family.
She was seventeen when her father died leaving her everything. Not long after she meant Edward Lilard and quickly fell in love. They married soon after, living a quiet life tending to their general goods shop.
Despite his flaws she loved Edward to the very end. She lived a happy life tending to her three daughters and house. Being a mother made her immensely happy and she couldn’t have asked for a better life.
She is survived by her husband, Edward Lilard, and their five children Rosemary, Dorcas, Valerie, Edward Jr and Arthur.
