Don't stop or we'll die- deep down (In a Dusty Meadow) I miss your comedic genius, Harris Wittels.
It bothers me more than it should that Harris never revealed those movies.
UPDATE: TWITTER REVEALED TO ME THAT HE SHARED THEM ON WHO CHARTED. AFTER 2 YEARS I CAN FINALLY SLEEP. Harris Lee Wittels. April 20, 1984 — February 19, 2015
I’ve been dreading this day for the whole year. I still hate that he’s gone. Over the past year, listening to CBB and U Talkin’ U2 to me, watching parks and rec and master of none, listening to Don’t Stop or We’ll Die and even seeing pictures or articles of him pop up every once in a while brought me back to how I along with many other fans felt when he passed away last year. It sucked that he died the way he did..... that he did at all.
I’m gonna remember him today. Time to start laughing
Aziz Ansari’s tribute to the late (and great) Harris Wittels
It’s a strange moment when a friend who has died shows up on your phone. My friend Harris Wittels died in February, but his name still occasionally pops up in my email, my Gchat, my Facebook feed and my text messages. It hurts, because for a second, I forget what has happened, and then this electronic ghost forces me to remember all over again.
What do you do? Are you supposed to delete the friend from your phone? It feels mean. The person just died, now I have to ‘‘delete’’ him?
When these digital ghosts pop up, I usually end up going down a rabbit hole, scrolling through these old exchanges and remembering my friend.
We miss you, Harris
Just thinking about you and your foam corner, and all the wonderful art you gave us. I wish you could have stuck around longer.
