i hated the avatar comics when they first came out but i ate it up bc atla was my fave show at the time so i wanted to get my hands on as much content as i could. i feel like all the characterization n plot was all so. flat

I feel the same way tbh I wanted that sweet canon content bc I was still sad at the show ending when I was 16 so I was stoked for them to come out and then I read the comics and was totally let down by them but I read on because I missed avatar
