Listened to Spring Awakening songs on the way to work this morning, getting psyched for the series finale of Rise tonight. Can’t believe the show has been canceled, when it was just finding its momentum. It had so much potential, if NBC had just given it a second season.

I’m making a prediction now, that in the finale episode the kids of Stanton Drama will say “screw censorship” and perform SA in its entirety, controversial content and all. They’ll get shut down after their opening night, but declare that it was worth it to do one authentic performance.
