RIP Sassy

Now some of you may know, only a couple of you but since last week my black cat Sassy had been going through Kidney Failure. It was a grueling thing for any cat parent to hear but she still lived as best as she could but however today on Feb. 8th, 2020 this will be a date I will dread for the rest of my life because this morning at around 10am EST, my beloved baby girl passed away in the comforts of her home on the couch. She’s the black one in these two pics (the white one is my other cat Phoebe).

I know I should be happy that she at least died in the comforts of home instead of a cold, strange table with a needle finally ending her suffering, but this........I adopted her from the getgo and she’s always been my baby but I guess now.....I have to give her away to a soul that I’m sure will take care of her.

As a Queen fan I want to ask Freddie Mercury and Jim Hutton to take care of my beloved Sassy, she’s skittish but she’s all the loving once you fully gain her trust. Hopefully she won’t have anything to be afraid of up there. But Sassy I know that you’re no longer suffering anymore or in pain but just know that mommy LOVES YOU SOO MUCH and please be kind to Freddie and Jim, maybe you’re reunited with your brother Hudson and will finally get to meet your long lost sister Missy.

RIP my beloved Sass-a-frass. May you now find peace in paradise.

It's been a month and it still feels like it happend last night. Every night before I go to bed I say good night to her as I always did when she was alive. Tonight I find myself unable to stop crying, I think I'll be crying for the rest of my life on nights like these. When the noise subsides and I am here with my thought. I still miss you as I will always miss you.
