i get that dirk loses to gamzee as a representation of him getting his ass beat by the concept of rage clown masculinity, but one must imagine dirk getting absolutely bodied by a huge ass dragon.

Some people's passings just hit you hard even when you never met them...

My dad has all of these stories about Broadway performers who used to come into the bank branch he worked at near Columbus Circle in the 70s.

He loves the show Pippin and was thrilled to meet Samuel Wright, who was understudying for the Leading Player in the show at the time. They became friendly acquaintances after my dad made a point to attend a performance he knew Wright would be going on for.

Of course, this became my favorite story to hear when, all of a sudden, I was able to gush to the other 7-year-olds that my dad had met the voice of Sebastian!

I know that 74 isn't too young in the grand scheme of things but it does still feel like someone great is gone too soon.

I think a rewatch of The Little Mermaid will be necessary for tonight in order to fully process this.
