There are a series of brisk knocks on the door. "Open the door, Silas." -Fiver
It felt like no time had passed between being discovered and the knocks on the door. Silas had been moving about his apartment, trying to make sure everything was in order, already trying to open the window with the fire escape. It seemed he was too late though as he heard Fiver’s voice on the other side of his door. He frowned, knowing that at this point, there was probably no running, thought that didn’t mean he wouldn’t keep trying as he struggled with the window. He should just bust it open but the noise would cause Fiver to come in faster.
“Sorry, we don’t want what you’re selling.” He called, lifting as hard as he could. It seemed with the cold weather, it had either froze the window shut or the wood had warped slightly, making it stick and be near impossible to open. “Go away or else.” Okay, so maybe threatening Fiver wasn’t the smartest thing to do in this moment but, he was frustrated and to be honest, he was going to try and find Spencer before Fiver had shown up, try and cause some last minute chaos before the inevitable happened.
