Can I say something? Being a part of a team that cares about the ocean and the wildlife in it, not to mention the creatures that live on land... WHAT THE HECK WAS THE GUY EVEN THINKING?! I cannot comprehend the fact that he shot this beloved lion named Cecil just for sport. I mean, it's fine if you want to hunt for food or to keep the animal population from overgrowing, but to do something like that just for kicks... it's BULLCRAP. (This is as close as I'll ever get to cussing out because I'm from a British children's telly show.) It's absolutely sickening. We can let nature take its course but you can't let humans like that a-hole change it for the worse. I feel bad for the researchers from Oxford that were studying Cecil - so there has to be something positive we can take out of this. We need to find ways to protect our wildlife from illegal hunting like what happened a day or two ago so that THIS doesn't happen again. In the meantime - those that saw him before he was hunted down will remember him as a graceful being and a favorite among tourists that were able to visit him. I'm just really depraved right now. Even Captain Barnacles isn't happy about this. But we'll need to do whatever it takes to stop this from happening. Shellington out. #RIPCecilTheLion
