When Meredith and Alex get back to the hospital they try to save the families life, only for all but the father and the children of the family to die immediately. While operating on the youngest child of the family, Derek and Mark realize that they need help if they are going to save the child's eye only to call Mark's girlfriend, Julia, in to assist them, with Lexie assisting Derek.  Derek and Meredith get Zola back.
