EVENT 01 - VALENTINE’S PARTY

Valentine’s Day came quickly and despite falling on a Thursday, one Evan Rosier couldn’t pass-up the excuse to throw an extravagant get together for his friends--and complete strangers. Everyone was invited be it by invitation, word of mouth or the rather large ad taken out in Witch Weekly. It was an event that you had to be at with games that would be guaranteed to cause more than a little chaos. 

This event will take place from posting time on Sunday, February the 10th until the end of the day on Friday, February the 22nd, please tag all starters & interactions with ripevent01. SPIN THE BOTTLE: A post can be made with your character spinning the bottle. This starter will be open to everyone but can only be replied to by one person. KISSING BOOTH: This will be an open starter than as many people can reply to as they would like. The kissing booth is run on a volunteer basis with all proceed’s going towards St. Mungo’s. One galleon per kiss -- oh, did I mention that the volunteer is blindfold and cannot remove their blind? SEVEN MINUTES IN HEAVEN: By liking this post you will be paired with a random person to be locked in a closet. This is a volunteer game and you cannot be entered unless you like this post, essentially it is like putting your name in a jar (that being said you can always say a friend put the name in the jar if your character is less than willing to play). The pairing will be announced by 2/12/2019 so please let us know if you’d like to be matched by liking this post as soon as possible!

EVENT 10 - FRIGHT NIGHT

Per Halloween Tradition, Hogsmede is all dressed up for the holiday. Every shop has a new adventure waiting inside, with treats at the end for those who make it through the festival. Students at Hogwarts have set a corn maze that can be accessed through the grounds. Hagrid’s pumpkin patch is perfect for picking. On the eve of Halloween, a spectacular show will ensue through the main street of Hogsmede with floats and candy tosses, culminating in a performance by the Twisted Sisters in the Great Hall of Hogwarts at Midnight.

This event will take place from posting time on Monday, October the 28th until the end of the day on Sunday, November the 11th, when the second part of the event is posted. Please tag all starters & interactions with ripevent10 along with the date October 31st, 2019. There will be a Halloween surprise posted this Thursday that goes with this event. Please feel free to post the costumes your character is wearing.

EVENT 09 - BEYOND REDEMPTION 

Desperation weaves its way through both the Ministry and The Order’s leaders. In a twisted turn of events, the Order members have been subjected to tactics most would have never even considered- sabotage. During this time of war, when the casualties keep rising, and the side of good keeps losing, they are willing to do anything they can to take some of the evil off the streets and lock them away in Azkaban. The members have been ordered to set traps all over London. How they do this is entirely at their discretion, but results must come and they must come soon.

This event will take place from posting time on Saturday, September the 14th until the end of the day on Saturday, September the 28th, when the second part of the event is posted. Please tag all starters & interactions with ripevent09. They should also be dated with date: September 14th, 2019. Under the cut are all the pairings for the event.

EVENT 07 - THE DIAGON ATTACK

Diagon Alley was bustling with the normal packed Friday crowd, with Hogwarts out for the summer things seemed to be even more populated than they had been in previous weeks. Perhaps it was the promise of a cool refreshing drink on a hot day or it could have been the chance to see a familiar face. What no one expected of this near perfect day was the beloved Olivander’s Wandshop to explode in high flames and a Dark Mark appearing above the scene, darkening the bright sun behind the omonious skull.

This event will take place from posting time on Friday, June the 28th until the end of the day on Sunday, July the 14th, please tag all starters & interactions with ripevent07. They should also be dated with date: June 28th, 2019.  Please remember all major injuries must be run by the main. Due to limited Death Eaters, anyone with a known Death Eater should assume their character is at Diagon Alley attacking people and shops, if you cannot pair up with a Death Eater for a duel then you’re welcome to use NPCs in your paras

EVENT 06 - HYPNOS OPENING

Dearest Friend,

You have been cordially invited to attend the grand opening of Hypnos, the wizarding world's newest premier nightclub. Some of you will find attached V.I.P passes that will grant you access behind the curtain. Everyone else is strictly prohibited from passing the rope. The first drink you order is on the owner. The rest will be half off until 1am. After that, it is full price. You may pay for V.I.P if you wish; but be warned; what happens behind the curtain stays there.

All first drinks are spiked with a truth serum- should you wish your character to not participate with the truth serum, simply make that known by messaging the main. As per usual, there will be no revealing of sides during the party unless you are willing to sacrifice your character to either side. During this event, if you decide to allow asks to be sent, any anonymous messages will be assumed to be heard by all at the club. Any messages sent directly between muses and posted on the dash will be kept between them. Have fun, and don't get into too much trouble. Posting time will occur between Monday, May 27th and end on Sunday, June 9th. All interactions must be dated with: June 26th, 2019 and tagged ripevent06.

EVENT 05 - FREE FOR ALL THREADS

We've elected to do something a little different this event and that means a Free for All thread event! This means that you can do a past thread, a future thread or an AU thread. Nothing is off the table, this is a good time for you to get to know the depths of your characters. We would love to see you partake in as many threads as you'd like to partake in. Have fun with this!

This event will take place from posting time on Monday, May the 6th until the end of the day on Sunday, May the 19th, please tag all threads with ripevent05. They should also be dated with the appropriate dates for your thread or if this is an AU thread please use the tag requiescatau.

EVENT 04 - HOGSMEDE LOCKDOWN

It was a normal day with Hogsmede bustling full of people looking to complete whatever errands were on their list. What wasn’t planned was Hogsmede being put on lockdown--a boundary spell thrown up preventing anyone from getting in or out. Death Eaters have control of the space are they’re encouraged to make as much as a rukus as they can, including the select few who have taken to torturing known muggleborns and blood traitors for all on the outer bounds to see. Despite their best efforts the Ministry is coming up short with a way to lower the boundary spell.

This event will take place from posting time on Monday, April the 15th until the end of the day on Sunday, April the 28th, please tag all starters & interactions with ripevent04. They should also be dated with date: April 15th, 2019.  Please remember all major injuries must be ran by the main. Due to limited Death Eaters anyone with a known Death Eater should assume their character is inside of Hogsmede, if you cannot pair up with a Death Eater then you’re welcome to use NPCs in your paras.

EVENT 03 - A CARNIVAL & A QUDDITCH GAME

With chaos reigning and tensions high, the stress of it all weighed heavily on the Wizarding Community. The Ministry decided to relieve some of this tension by planning an outlandish event filled with carnival rides, games, and a quidditch match that would go down in history. The admission is free, and the Ministry promises to make the event a blow-out party that no one would want to miss.

This event will take place from posting time on Monday, March the 25th until the end of the day on Sunday, April the 7th, please tag all starters & interactions with ripevent03. They should also be dated with date: March 25th, 2019. This event will be a two-parter to encourage your muse to interact with more than one person.
