{ for a cause }
Attacking Hogsmeade was a risky move, and one that Rabastan wasn’t entirely thrilled with. Despite that, he had kept his mouth shut and done what was asked of him. His partner, a true moron if he was being completely candid, had held an uncomfortable level of glee at the notion of attacking bystanders, and Rabastan couldn’t help but wish he’d been paired with someone else. It would have been nice to have a partner with a few more braincells and a bit more composure, but he figured he had probably been saddled with him because he was a good balancer. As in, Rabastan could remain level headed enough to ensure that nothing got screwed up. He almost felt more like a babysitter than anything, but he’d kept his thoughts on the matter to himself.
As soon as their feet had landed in the center, he’d helped cast the barrier spell. It would allow them to create chaos without the immediate interference of the aurors and Order members. Without hesitation, he’d collapsed one of the brick buildings into the alleyway, effectively trapping anyone that was trying to hide and preventing anyone from escaping. As a few bystanders ran past, he caused the road the cave in, but turned his head as they fell into the newly created trench. His eyes catching a familiar blonde, Rabastan held in a groan. Of course Rita Skeeter was videotaping the entire attack. Knowing that it would cause unnecessary trouble for the Death Eaters, as well as paint a lovely target on her back, Rabastan didn’t hesitate blast the phone to pieces, straight out of her hands.
