I did not want to comment on the #gabbypetito case because so much is still up in the air; but let me just say these three things; 1) the media is happily focused on a cute white lady gone missing when many others (including many but #laurencho and #danielrobinson come freshly to mind) have also been reported missing under similar circumstances without the barrage of coverage and obviously that’s wrong and should be addressed; 2) the obvious issues of domestic violence with regard to Gabby and her miraculously missing fiancé/ person of interest have not gotten enough attention; and 3) very few people consider the security required when embarking on a trip like this. Personally; my family has been super chill about this whole traveling the country while fighting cancer thing, except that every night I have to text my family members to let them know where I am. If it’s 7 pm and my siblings don’t know where I’m sleeping, they’re calling me. If they haven’t heard from me inexplicably, believe that law enforcement will be called to my last known location. What do you do, if you’re full time, to let your fam know you’re ok? This is One of the Most Memorable Photos of Mine and That’s All Because This Punk Rock and Roll Vato @gabbygabmanic @grupomanichispanic the Gangster for God Himself is in it! Plus His Sister Got a Firme Friendly Photobomb in!! It’s Been Over Three Years Since El Jefe Passed on and Though the Cholo Punk Rock Cover Band Plays on, ya Gotta Check Out the Disbanded @cadillactrampsdocumentary Now on Amazon Prime so You Too Can Witness the Glory and Know the Story Of His Original Band of OutCasts and Sober lOCos!!! The Last Time The Tramps Played @punkrockbowling Along With Manic, as the Latter Played Every Year for the Awards Party, I Was Able yo Sneak in to the Soundcheck. Gabby Was the First Person to Walk up to me and I Thought he Was Gonna Ask What the Fuck I Was Doing Standing Against the Wall Chilling Like I Belonged There, But Instead he Asked if I Had Any Gum. Luckily I Had Some and Casually Handed Him a Piece. Immediately the Band’s Tour Manager Whose Initials Are KM, Swooped on me and Demanded to See What I Handed to Gabby, Sounds Crazy, But if You Knew These Two and Their Incredible Stories Of Recovery, You’d Get the Reasoning Right Away. Best Part is I Later Was Made Aware Of the Fact That Those Same Initials Written on the Right Hand With a Sharpie Were Used to Get the Band Members in to the Show That Night and Of Course I Took Advantage. Another Year at PRB When Manic Played Beauty Bar I Was Not Able to Sneak in so Easily, so Instead I Went Around Back to the Infamous Alley Just After @efbystereo Pushed Open the Gate to Let People in. Missed it Again and Was Bummed But Punks Were Actually Pitting in the Alley and Making the Most Of it. So I Joined in and Then Started Hitting Up a Dumpster With a Quick Tag Just as Gabby Started Calling me Out From the Stage and @oc_gilbert Flashed a Light on me. Clearly You Can See I’m Not Much For Criminal Activity and the Sober Life is Probably Going to Continue to be the Best Choice for Me Love You Gabster, May Your Soul Rest Peacefully and my Heart Goes Out to Presley Gaborno and the Family/Friends Of a Legendary Human Being.
