You didn’t specify that this has to be different people, so I’m going to take full advantage of that, but I’ll give my reasons to make up for being dull.

Want as my mentor: Rip Hunter
Okay, who wouldn’t want an experienced time traveller as their mentor. But Rip is someone who takes responsibility seriously, especially to anyone that is his junior. We’ve seen that he was a great mentor to Jax, helping him to become the Chief Engineer of the Waverider and teaching him all the skills he needed to do the job. Rip also has a very moral centre and he’d make sure he passed that onto his mentee.
Bake cupcakes for: Zari Tomaz
First of all, Rip can bake his own cupcakes, he’d be better at it than I would. Secondly, I think Zari is the person on the team with the least prior experience of people baking things for her. She comes from a future where food is utilitarian and boring. She needs someone to bake her cupcakes.
Lend my books to: Ray Palmer
Rip doesn’t need my books, he’s probably read them all anyway. I’m only going to lend my books to someone who’d actually look after them and return them, so also not Rip. Ray would take care of my books and faithfully return them exactly when asked (just I know he was late with a library book, but late still means he returned it), plus most of my fiction collection is Sci-Fi so I think he’d appreciate that. I bet he’s a huge Sci-Fi fan, but he probably hasn’t read much recently because he’s been too busy.
Put thumbtacks on the chair thereof: Nate Heywood
I really disliked the way Nate treated Amaya, and he’s acted like a complete idiot, screwing something up in every episode so far this season. He deserves the thumb tacks. The guy needs to learn how to respect women.
Have a crush on: Rip Hunter
I think the fact that I have a Rip Hunter tumblr and constantly write about him is indication enough that I would have a huge crush on Rip. He looks so good in the coat and he really could use someone to hug him.
Pack up and leave if they moved next door: Mick Rory
Could you imagine what it would be like living next to Mick? The fire alarm would constantly be going off, firemen would be regulars in the street, my house would probably have it’s fence burnt down, and he’d invite the rest of the Rogues round any chance he could get. The crime rate would sky rocket. I think moving out would be the only logical thing to do.
I would also pack up and leave if John Constantine moved in next door because I’m not a fan of demonic possession or loud punk rock music (sorry John, I still love you, but you’d be as bad a neighbour as Mick in your own way).
Follow as captain of a ship: Rip Hunter
I thought Rip was a pretty good Captain. He knows more about the Waverider than anyone else on the crew, Jax included. He knows more about time travel than anyone else on the crew, Mick included. What he really needs is a crew who will actually follow his instructions.
Pick as my partner in a buddy movie: Rip Hunter
It sort of depends what kind of buddy movie it is. If we’re going with buddy cop movie then I definitely want the guy who can shoot stuff with either his left or right hand, and has the investigative powers to track down Vandal Savage in various time periods, knows how long a body has been dead for from whether rigor has set in, and can spot a German spy at a cocktail party by the stitching on their lapels. He’d be an awesome partner.
Sara would come in a close second here. If only for her ability to kick ass and take names, but also the two of us together would be a hilariously mismatched combination.
I feel this is a bit obvious. I have a huge crush on him. He wouldn’t have me, but if he ever asked, I’m pretty sure I’d say ‘yes’.
Want as my boss: Rip Hunter (actually maybe Jax would be better…)
When Rip was in charge of the Time Bureau he had properly trained agents who did as ordered and apparently did a pretty good job of dealing with anachronisms. They also had a “First Aid Station and Quiet Room”. Rip is the kind of boss who takes care of his employees, makes sure that they’re trained and ready to go into the field. Hell yes, I want him as my boss.
Although maybe the sneaking off to hunt down Mallus might get a bit tedious, and possibly the secret keeping would wear after a while. Actually maybe I should change this one to Jax, he’d do all the stuff Rip would whilst being more open and approachable. But he would be less experienced.
I’d sue Damien for mental scarring for everything he’s put the team through. He’s got plenty of cash and he’s a horrible person. Self-explanatory I feel.
Want as my best friend: Gideon
I actually don’t think Rip would be the greatest best friend, he’d be a good friend, but I think it might end up being a bit of a one sided friendship whilst he’s distracted by whatever his current obsession it. But Gideon is loyal and true and always ready to listen. She’s been Rip’s best friend for over a decade and I’m confident that it’s because she’s not around to keep him right that Rip’s ended up obsessing over Mallus and lost the trust of those around him. I’d love to have a best friend who cared about me as much as Gideon cares about Rip.
