Who is there?
He was born on 27 February 1939, he was the 5th of 7 children.
His love for fashion developed at an early age through reading his sisters' magazines.
Withdrew from the university against his family's wishes and enrolled at Fashion College, which had just opened its doors to male students.
Inspired by Paris he moved there determined to open a boutique in an area where his peers had not opened one. Rented a small space in the Galerie Vivienne and opened up a shop as a designer.
With very little money he mixed and matched the fabrics from the Saint Pierre market in Montmartre, creating an eclectic and bold first fashion collection. Elle featured one of his designs on its cover and the rest is history.
Today’s coffee break is dedicated to Kenzo Takada passed away 4th October 2020.

Chi ho “invitato” oggi?
Un ragazzo dal sorriso ammagliante. Quinto di sette figli, sviluppò una passione per la moda in giovanissima età. Dopo aver abbandonato l'università si iscrisse ad una scuola di moda, che aveva appena aperto agli uomini.
Dopo il diploma si trasferì a Parigi, presentò la sua prima collezione al Vivienne Gallery ed aprì la sua prima boutique Jungle Jap. Fondò la casa di moda che tutt’ora porta il suo nome ed era solito a terminare le sfilate con la sua entrata sul dorso di un elefante. Ha lasciato il pianeta Terra 4 ottobre 2020 a 81 anni.
Si chiamava Kenzo Takada ed il COVID-19 lo ha portato via. La pausa caffe di oggi è dedicata a lui.

Он родился 27 февраля 1939 г., пятый из 7 детей владельца чайного домика.
Бросил университет вопреки воле родителей и поступил в школу моды.
Переехал в Париж, где его первое дефеле женской одежды вызывало большой интерес. Журнал моды ELLE опубликовал на обложке одну из его моделей и карьера в мире моды быстро пошла в гору.
Основатель одноименного дома моды, он устраивал знакомство с коллекцией в цирке и разъезжал на слоне.
Его звали Кензо Такада. Сегодняшний перерыв на кофе посвящен ему.
