note: ik this isn't probably canon to the game but I like to think so let me have this

I was thinking the ender civilization discovered they could teleport into other dimensions and they helped the people in the overworld and piglin in the nether w/ buildings and technology

they eventually built portals to and from the end and nether for the overworld

there is some lore that the endermen worship the dragon so what if the dragon was one of th leaders that went corrupted nd in their rage became the dragon and cursed their people

the achievement "free the end" maybe a way of freeing the endermen from their former leader

it's also known that the ender talk is reversed and corrupted words like "hello" and "what's up" and after the dragon is killed I think it's "Thank you" iirc

also elytra wings may have became the dragons wings hehoo

After the fall of the ender civilization, the nether and overworld stayed in touch.

for a while

when monsters began attacking villages, the piglin helped to fight them off, seeing some of the people become zombies and they didn't want to see another species fall. After a large battle against a horde, one piglin came home infected and became the first of many zombie piglin

to stop the spread in both worlds, the overworld and nether agreeded to cut off the portals, creating the ruined portals around the world

the overworld began to explore their world more which lead to the discovery of the ocean moments. the guardians attacking the sailors eventually made the drowned and sunken ships around the ocean.

other overworld people modified the technology they were taught and made things like golems to protect villages nd such which came in handy when villages began to turn on each others (Ex. villagers getting attacked by pillagers nd witches)
