"Well, things don't always look scary. Doesn't mean it can't be terrifying. But it works the other way too... " Billy muttered, shrugging a little. It was something he'd learned the hard way. Not that Billy ever voiced the things he was scared of, he wasn't quite that comfortable with the others to share such things with them. "We're gonna have to figure out what the hell this thing is though ... if it's a danger or not ..."

If anyone understood this, it was Eddie. Things were a little much for him too these days. Not all that long ago, the worst thing in his life was a campaign not happening or his supply of drugs running out and him not being able to buy a new stash to sell, but ... things were so much more complicated now.
Nodding, he reached a hand out and patted Mike's shoulder somewhat awkwardly. "Sure you can ... if I can handle being wanted for murder, I'm pretty sure you can handle just about anything." He mused, a soft smile on his lips. "And, I'm here to rant to if you want. I've found ranting can heal."

Taking a deep breath, El cast her eyes down. Maybe she indeed wasn't as alright as she was playing off to be. But a lot had been happening lately and she was trying to deal with things. It was harder than she'd expected. "I try. But it's hard." She spoke, knowing that it wasn't even nearly explaining things but y'know ... she was admitting something at least. After all, she did trust Mike with her life.

Max grinned and tilted her head as she pretended to think the question over. "Hmm, ... yea, yea I think so." She laughed a little and shrugged as she shifted where she was sitting. "Is it weird? I mean, ... we're all a little competitive right?" Maybe being around Billy had been rubbing off on her too much. He did have a tendency to be ... very competitive.
