been writing a good!homunculi au greedling rp and im suddenly fully realizing the horror story greed and ling were living like *right* after they escaped father. ed and envy have been lost in briggs. everyone else is MIA. lust and gluttony have left central—with no note as to where—and lan fan has too. and one of the two soldiers that greed truly let himself trust is working alongside the führer. when they run into sloth in the north, it's the first time they've met an ally outside of the chimeras in *days*. it isn't until they get back to central and run into ed and envy that they finally get explanations on literally everything they had missed.

ive always pictured these two as being absolutely messes when theyre finally separated, but i always considered it was because of the *months* they spent traveling together sharing a body. now i can't help but wonder if it's really because of the week or two they spent alone.
