FAREWELL RENE'

My heart is so broken for Celine Dion and the three beautiful kids she and Rene' Angelil created. Rene' and Celine's love story was legendary. They loved, laughed, cherished, respected, and took amazing care of each other in a world who said they would never last. He was and is her only love. I've been a Celine fan since the beginning. I fell in love with her voice and her lack of pretenses the very first time I saw her perform when she opened for Michael Bolton many years back. I know. I'm telling my age and I don't care. :) Celine is just so precious, gracious, kind, hilarious, real, generous, and that AMAZING TALENT. I could go on and on. Rene' was a force in Celine's life personally and professionally. He was a gentle giant, so to speak. I never met him, but, I have many friends who have, and, every single one attests to his warm smile and hugs, his humility, his fierce love for Celine and their children, and his unfailing guidance in Celine's career. He was always kind and gentle with the fans. Rene' was quite an influence on other music careers, as well. One can see this in the huge outpouring of love and respect worldwide since yesterday. Rest easy, Rene'. You fought a long, hard battle of many years. Your journey was not easy, but, you continued to fight for every single second you had with your loves: Celine, RC, Nelson and Eddie. Godspeed, Rene'. You will be missed and never forgotten.
