Let’s celebrate: Tamale was born around this time, 19 years ago!🎂🎉🐱💗... See the leopard? 🐆 I gave it to Tamale on her first night with us, when she was the size of my fist. Her ear tips were raw, her body wounds dressed by the vet, and she seemed so happy. She slept next to me — and her leopard. In these shots, she’s bigger than leopard, and eventually she lost interest in it. But I kept it around. In fact, leopard, and a box of Kleenex, were my constant companions after she died.
